His on-camera work moves between vertical drama, comedy, and independent film. As a filmmaker, he writes and directs compact stories that put performance and feeling first.

He co-wrote and co-directed Ice Cream Tears with Nehemiah Jordan, and wrote and directed the short comedy Weed & Beer. Both are part of a practice built around doing the work from first idea through final cut.

Outside production, Jake has built entrepreneurial projects. That experience gives him a practical, collaborative perspective on making creative work happen.
